Yahoo! has launched Flash Developer Center to provide information about using Adobe Flash with Yahoo! Web Services and APIs.

Jeffery Bennett of Yahoo! said: “With examples in both ActionScript 2 and ActionScript 3, the Flash Developer Center will have you mashing up search, maps, music, and events in no time”. [source]

The Flash Developer Center offers the following:

– “˜HOWTO Articles to help users understand Yahoo! technologies and using them with Flash.

– Components to use in Flash applications.

– Other Resources on the web where users can find source code and helpful tools.

– Community Resources where users can join Yahoo! mailing list and discuss the Yahoo! APIs.

– External Resources on the web where users can find source code and helpful tools’.
