The New York Times has launched ‘mobile.nytimes.com’, new advertiser-supported mobile site. The site will provide news and information from NYTimes.com.
The New York Times has launched ‘mobile.nytimes.com’, new advertiser-supported mobile site. The site will provide news and information from NYTimes.com.
The site can be accessed from web-enabled phones and PDAs.
The site will display a banner ad at the top and a sponsorship of article tools. Banners will be available on all the pages of the site. Microsoft Windows Mobile has signed on as the first advertiser.
The site will enable users to view NYTimes.com sections, articles and photos. The site will allow users to search the seven-day news archive.
Users can activate the NYTimes.com mobile site for free by typing ‘http://mobile.nytimes.com’ into the web browser of a Web-enabled phone or PDA.
