Seven million Americans have downloaded television shows from the Internet in past 30 days, according to Ipsos.

The survey covered 1,143 respondents aged 12 and over between June 23 and July 4, 2006.

The following is the data provided by Ipsos:

– ‘10% of young adults aged 18 to 34 have downloaded TV programs from the Internet

– In 2005, 2% of Americans downloaded videos from the Internet

– 18% of Americans aged 12 and older have watched music videos online

– 32 million Americans have downloaded video games to their PCs

– One in ten Americans aged 12 and older has downloaded music videos

– One in ten Americans aged 12 and older has downloaded movie trailers’.
