Six Apart, the provider of TypePad and Movable Type, has acquired Rojo Networks, an RSS feed services provider.


Six Apart, the provider of TypePad and Movable Type, has acquired Rojo Networks, an RSS feed services provider.

Four employees of Rojo, Chris Alden, Aaron Emigh, Andrew Bunner and Jim Ramsey will become the team members of Six apart.

Chris Alden, CEO of Rojo, will become the vice president and general manager of Movable Type.
Rojo will work as a subsidiary of Six Apart, according to Six Apart.

Six Apart enables people to communicate using web. It operates TypePad and Movable Type.

Rojo Networks was founded in June 2003 to radically improve how busy people discover and consume content. The company launched its invitation-only beta trial at the Web 2.0 Conference in October 2004 and launched its public beta on April 20th, 2005.
