I got this question from several people who read my last article “Fun with Google Video”

* The questions they asked was:

“What’s Digg?”

Digg.com is a web site that lets community members post interesting articles and then lets other members comment on them.

The simplest comment is a “thumbs up.”

The more thumbs up an article gets, the more prominence it gets on the web site. Given how much traffic Digg gets, a front page placement generates big spikes in visitors fast.

I just posted my “Fun with Google Video” under a new title “Google Video Tricks” on Digg so you can see how it works.

Enjoy!
