Google has launched ‘GSvideoSearch’, a new Google AJAX Search API application designed to allow users add video search and playback capabilities to their pages, sites, and blogs.


Google has launched ‘GSvideoSearch’, a new Google AJAX Search API application designed to allow users add video search and playback capabilities to their pages, sites, and blogs.

Google AJAX search API users can add Google videos to their site.

To add Google video search to websites:

– ‘Use API key and include the code

– Include the gsvideosearch.js and gsvideosearch.css solution files

– Create and style a div element

– Create a list of tagged searches you want your readers to see by default

– Add a call to GSvideoSearchControl and point it at the div created in step 2’.

Google has provided a sample of GSvideoSearch Solution.
