Apple has announced that Dr. Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google, has joined Apple’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Eric Schmidt was elected to Apple’s board of directors at a meeting, according to Apple.

Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, said: “Eric is obviously doing a terrific job as CEO of Google, and we look forward to his contributions as a member of Apple’s board of directors,
