eBay is going to discontinue the eBay Keywords program at the end of September. The eBay keyword program allows eBay sellers to bid for keywords for text ad placements.

eBay will remove the eBay Keywords text box ad placements in the week of September 5.

The program will be closed on September 30, 2006.

eBay will allow eBay Keywords customers to access the larger graphical ad placements through the end of September, 2006, according to eBay.
