Sony Pictures Entertainment has acquired Grouper.com, a user-generated video site, for $65 million.

The company’s current management will work as a team with Sony Picture, according to Sony Pictures.

Grouper.com enables its members to watch, share and create video on the web.

Grouper allows its users to browse videos and post them to third-party websites, such as MySpace, Blogger and Friendster.
