Socialtext has released ‘Socialtext Open’, an open source wiki.

Socialtext is a wiki company creating wikis for various companies. 2,000 businesses run Socialtext wiki products, according to Socialtext.

Socialtext Open contains enterprise management and enterprise integration tools.

Ross Mayfield, CEO of Socialtext, said: “Wikis have a rich open source tradition that we are proud to be a part of. Socialtext Open provides businesses an easy-to-use wiki designed for professional use”. [source]

Socialtext has also announced the availability of a new SOAP API and the Socialtext Open Roadmap for the next three months.
