Google received 49.4% share of total U.S. searches for the month of June 2006, according to a report by Nielsen//NetRatings.

Google received 49.4% share of total U.S. searches for the month of June 2006, according to a report by Nielsen//NetRatings.

Key findings of Nielsen//NetRatings include:

– 2,671,048 Searches were performed on Google

– Yahoo! Search received 1,243,621 searches with 23.0% share of total U.S. searches

– MSN Search received 555,638 searches with 10.3% of total U.S. searches

– AOL Search got 371,446 search queries

– 125,588 searches were made on Ask.com Search.
