Google has announced financial results for the second quarter of 2006. Google’s revenues for Q2 2006 were $2.46 billion, a 77% increase compared to Q2, 2005.

This is a 9% increase compared to the first quarter of 2006.

Google’s TAC for Q2 was $785 million, which accounted for 32% of their advertising revenues.

GAAP operating income for the second quarter was $815 million, which accounted for 33% of the revenues.

Non-GAAP operating income was $925 million, which accounted for 38% of the revenues.

GAAP net income was $721 million, compared to $592 million in the first quarter.

Non-GAAP net income was $772 million, compared to $697 million in the first quarter.
