Skype has announced the availability of ‘WiFi Phones for Skype’. Skype software on WiFi phones will enable people to make Internet calls without using computer.


Skype has announced the availability of ‘WiFi Phones for Skype’. Skype software on WiFi phones will enable people to make Internet calls without using computer.

Skype has announced availability of four WiFi phones:

– Belkin WiFi Phone for Skype (F1PP000GN-SK)

– Edge-Core WiFi Phone for Skype (WM4201)

– NETGEAR WiFi Phone for Skype (SPH101)

– SMC WiFi Phone for Skype (WSKP100).

The phones are available with in-built Skype software.

People can use Skype WiFi phones with the WiFi access points in homes, offices or campuses. The user functionality available on these phones is similar to computers, according to Skype.

The new Skype WiFi phones will be available from the Skype store at ‘www.skype.com/store’.
