Additional key findings include:

– Consumers with net wealth of over $750,000 and annual income of over $150,000 prefer purchasing luxury products online.

– Nine in 10 consumers chose the internet to research for luxury products and services.

– Over 50% said they prefer sending emails to the luxury products or services provider.

– 56% said they were comfortable with receiving unsolicited emails from luxury products and services providers.

– Of consumers with net work of over $10 million, 93% said they purchased a luxury product online in the past 12 months.

– 55% of all wealthy consumers said they have purchased online.

– 78% of men have gone online to research information about a luxury service, compared to 70% of women.

– 77% have researched information on luxury goods, compared to 68% of women.
