Over one quarter of online shoppers are not satisfied with an online purchase they have made in the past 6 months, according to a survey by Loot.
Complaints about internet sales increased 74% in 2005.
Additional findings include:
– Absence of customer experience and a clear course of redress while shopping online is the main cause of dissatisfaction.
– Late or non-delivery of items and faulty/damaged goods is also a major cause.
– The number one issue is that ustomers find it difficult to communicate to the retailer when they receive unsatisfactory products.
The survey was conducted on over 7,000 online shoppers.
