Sophos has warned of W32/Cuebot-K worm. The worm spreads through chat programs and allows backdoor access to a user’s computer.
Sophos has warned of the W32/Cuebot-K worm. The worm spreads through chat programs and allows backdoor access to a user’s computer.
According to Sophos, the worm spreads through the AOL Instant Messenger.
When the program is run, the worm copies itself to the system folder wgavn.exe. The worm creates a file /Debugdcpromo.log.
The startup type of the file is automatic and it is started automatically at the time of system startup.
