Mobile Enterprise eMail Subscribers in Asia/Pacific will reach 2.72 Million in 2010, according to a report by IDC.

Key findings of IDC include:

– Currently there are 0.74 million mobile enterprise eMail subscribers in the Asia/Pacific

– The compound annual growth rate of the mobile enterprise eMail subscribers is 38.2%,

– Visto and Good Technologies are increasing their presence in the region

– Nokia and Microsoft have created a new place in the marketplace.

Shalini Verma, Senior Market Analyst at IDC, said: “Carriers are offering multiple mobile email solutions originating from competing mobile email providers, to the enterprise customers.
