Microsoft has launched CodePlex. CodePlex is an online community for collaborative software development and for sharing source code.

CodePlex is part of Microsoft’s Shared Source Initiative program.

CodePlex currently hosts over 30 development projects, including open source software projects.

Features of CodePlex include:

– Source control

– Issue tracking

– Discussion forums

– RSS feeds

Projects available on CodePlex include:

– Atlas Control Toolkit

– IronPython 1.01 and Beta 1

– Power Toys for Visual Studio
