35% of companies plan to incorporate corporate weblogs in 2006, according to a study by JupiterResearch. By the end of 2006, 70% of all websites will have incorporated weblogs.
35% of companies plan to incorporate corporate weblogs in 2006, according to a study by JupiterResearch. By the end of 2006, 70% of all websites will have incorporated weblogs.
Additional key findings include:
– Currently 34% companies have already incorporated weblogs.
– Currently 64% executives spend $500,000 to deploy and manage weblogs.
– 32% of marketing executives said they use weblogs for word-of-mouth marketing.
Greg Dowling, Analyst at JupiterResearch and author of the report, said: “Site operators should leverage existing Web content management best practices and functionality to decrease total cost of ownership, promote unified branding and increase site security.” [Source]
