PhotoBucket accounts for 43.84% of the photo sharing websites market, according to a study by Hitwise. Yahoo Photos accounts for 18.27% and Webshots Community accounts for 8.34%.

– Kodakgallery.com: 6.52%

– ImageShack: 6.04%

– Flickr: 5.95%

– Snapfish: 4.06%

– Picturetrail: 3.19%

– Slide.com: 1.95%

– Shutterfly: 1.84%

According to the study MySpace was responsible for 76% of Slide.com’s traffic in May 2006. MySpace was also responsible for 56% of PhotoBucket’s traffic and 50% of ImageShack’s traffic.

The study reported that 1.39% of downstream traffic from MySpace goes to PhotoBucket.
