Symantec and iKeepSafe have launched an online security tutorial for parents. The tutorial is titled ‘Parents’ Top 10 Technical Questions: What Every Parent Must Do to Keep Children Safe Online’.

The tutorial offers information for parents on how to keep their children safe from internet threats, including cyber-predators, online fraud and viruses.

According to Symantec, over 30 million children currently use the internet. Kids spend over two hours online per day. This number doubles during the summer.

The tutorial is part of the new Parent Resource Center on the Internet Keep Safe Coalition website.

The Internet Keep Safe Coalition is a non-profit organization focused on helping parents, educators and caregivers by providing guidelines and tools for keeping children safe while using the internet.
