Adobe has partnered with Google. Adobe is going to distribute Google Toolbar with Adobe products.

Also, Adobe and Google are going to launch the availability of Google Toolbar with downloads of Adobe’s Macromedia Shockwave Player. Google Toolbar will be offered as part of the Shockwave Player installation process for Internet Explorer.

Shantanu Narayen, president and chief operating officer at Adobe, said: “As leaders in our respective market categories, it’s fitting for Adobe and Google to work together to improve the ways customers engage with ideas and information.” [Source]

The Google Toolbar is a free download. The service adds a Google search box to a web browser, through which users can access Google Search.

Adobe’s Shockwave Player allows users to view internet content, including games, business presentations, entertainment and advertisements, from a web browser.
