According to the report, in May there were 1.57 jobs per 100 persons in the US labor force. In April, there were 1.51 jobs per 100 persons.
Additional key findings include:
– New online job ads increased 17.4% in May 2006, compared to May 2005.
– New online job ads increased 7% in the Pacific region.
– New online job ads increased 6% in the Middle Atlantic region.
– New England had 2.38 jobs per 100 persons in May.
– East South Central was the lowest in the list with 0.98 jobs per 100 persons.
– Online job ads in East South Central region decreased 5.2% in May 2006, compared to May 2005.
