Microsoft has announced “˜Protect Yourself This Summer’ program to educate people remain safe online. Protect Yourself This Summer program will begin from June 19.
Online security is an important issue. The participating organizations will provide people with specific guidance about ways to protect their families, their information and their PC, according to Microsoft.
Protect Yourself This Summer’s participating organizations include:
– EarthLink Inc.
– AT&T
– Cox Communications Inc.
– MSN
– TDC Ltd.
– T-Online.
Kristin Johnsen, senior director of Security Outreach at Microsoft, said: “As a company, Microsoft is committed to helping consumers stay safe online, and a big part of this effort is making sure our customers have the resources to understand how to use the Internet safely”. [source]
The Protect Yourself This Summer is a part of the works of the Microsoft Security Response Alliance (MSRA), an organization formed by Microsoft.
