AOL to Re-launch Netscape
AOL is going to re-launch the Netscape website. The new website will serve as a collaborative news site.
AOL is going to re-launch the Netscape.com website. The new website will serve as a collaborative news site.
Visitors to the site will be able to submit links to interesting articles that they find somewhere else on the internet. They will also be able to vote on their favorite articles.
The articles with the most votes appear on the homepage and in separate sections. The sections include topics on food, and technology.
Netscape is also going to add a social networking feature. The feature will users to designate other users as friends and view what the friends have voted for or submitted.
The new website is expected to launch officially on July 1, 2006. A public beta test is currently available.
