Pitney Bowes has launched ClearPath cross-border service. The service aims at helping eBay buyers and sellers by removing payment and shipping issues associated with international transactions.

ClearPath helps manage and track shipments of eBay items from a U.S. seller to a Canadian buyer.

ClearPath is featured as a link within the eBay Solutions Directory. It is also available on registered sellers’ item listings.

ClearPath calculates total costs of the international transaction for the buyer, including item price, shipping and handling, duties, taxes and currency exchange.

ClearPath solution directs and tracks the movement of the particular item from the seller to a consolidator, then to a customs broker, then to a Canadian domestic carrier and then to the buyer.

ClearPath also remits payment to the seller, service suppliers and associated government entities.

eBay sellers are required to register for ClearPath so that buyers can make use of the service.
