Web has extended the reach of all media. Web media dominates other media at workplaces, according to a report from the Online Publishers Association.

Key findings of OPA include:

– Use of newspapers remain at peak in the morning

– When print media was combined with Web consumption, the reach for advertisers reached to 44%

– Heavy web users’ average retail spending was $26,450

– 17% of Overall Media Consumed via Internet.

Pam Horan, president of OPA, said: “Heavy Web users simply spend more money. In a wide range of spending categories, heavy Web users are more affluent and spend more than their television-centric counterparts”. [source]
