150 million consumers visited travel websites and Annual online travel revenues exceeded $60 billion in 2005, according to comScore Networks.

In 2005, there was 35% increase in travel website visits than 2004. Branded supplier sites earned 57% of online travel dollars in 2005 which was up from 55% in 2004.

With the growth of travel industry, consumers have been slowly migrating from online agencies to branded airline, hotel or car rental supplier sites, according to comScore.
