Microsoft Live Labs has launched Security Token Service and Relay Service. STS is an online identity management service. Relay Service allows services built using Windows Communication Foundation to connect to P-to-P networks.


Microsoft Live Labs has launched Security Token Service and Relay Service.

STS is an online identity management service. The service enables users to register personal information on a virtual information card.

The information is registered using InfoCard, Microsoft’s authentication service.

Once users have registered, they can sign in using information from the InfoCard whenever they visit a website that is InfoCard enabled.

Relay Service allows services built using Windows Communication Foundation to connect to P-to-P networks through security devices, including firewalls, and network address translators.
