Postini is going to partner with ScanSafe. Postini is going to add web filtering to its list of services.

ScanSafe is a provider of web filtering services. ScanSafe searches the internet traffic for viruses, spyware and adware. ScanSafe allows a customer to block access to websites.

When customers want to use the ScanSafe technology, they will route web traffic through a Postini data center.

Postini’s web filtering service is expected to be available in the third quarter of 2006.
