60.7% of US adults aged 55 and more have said that they use the internet more now than a year ago, in the Burst Media Survey.

65.5% have said they are going to more websites and 34.5% have marked “many more”. The top uses of internet for this age group include:

Gathering information, 56.3%

Communicating with others, 53.6%

Surfing for news, sports and weather information, 48.8%

Researching product information, 43%
