Yahoo is going to offer WordPress blog publishing sofrware to new and existing subscribers of its web hosting services.

The publishing software will be a free offer with all of Yahoo’s web hosting plans, starting with the basic plan costing $11.95 a month.

Guy Yalif, director of Yahoo Web hosting products, said, “We’re committed to working with industry leaders to provide top-notch publishing platforms.” [Source]

Yahoo will also automatically upgrade the WordPress software whenever a new upgrade is available.

Yahoo recently tied up with SixApart. The deal allows Yahoo’s hosting service subscribers to create blogs using SixApart’s Movable Type Publishing Software.
