Yahoo has launched Open Shortcuts service. Open Shortcuts allows users to create shortcuts to URLs and access them using the Yahoo Search box.


Yahoo has launched Open Shortcuts service. Open Shortcuts allows users to create shortcuts to URLs and access them using the Yahoo Search box.

When a user types a shortcut in the Yahoo Search box, Yahoo opens the web link assigned to the shortcut

Users can use a customized Yahoo search commands by typing an exclamation(!) followed by the name of the shortcut in the Yahoo! Search box.

Users can create a customized shortcut by typing ‘!set’ followed by the shortcut name and the URL in the Yahoo Search box.
