Google Releases Newsletter for Librarians
Google has released the Google Librarian Newsletter. Google will be publishing the newsletter on a quarterly basis.
Google has released the Google Librarian Newsletter.
The newsletter says, “Librarians and Google share the same mission: to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful. The goal of this newsletter is to highlight ways we can work together to fulfill that mission for patrons, students and users.” [Source]
The first issue contains an introduction to the newsletter. It also contains an article by Matt Cutts, Google’s Quality Engineer, on “˜How does Google collect and rank results?’
Google will be publishing the newsletter on a quarterly basis.
