The Internet Society of China has inaugurated the Anti-Spam Committee of Internet Society of China. The ASISC will address the problem of spam in China.


The ISC has inaugurated the ASISC on the basis of the “˜ISC Anti-Spam Coordination Team’. The ASISC will address the problem of spam in China.

“The establishment of the working committee indicates that China anti-Spam project is stepping into a new phase” [Source]

The ASCT was already fighting spam. But according to ASISC, their anti-spam work will be “more standardized, the measures and instruments will also be perfected and improved that the control of Spam could be more effective.” [Source]

The main responsibilities of the ASISC are:

a) To constitute email service standards and criterions
b) Safeguard the interests of the whole industry
c) Protect email users’ legitimate rights
d) Develop various international or regional communication and cooperation
e) Improve email service’s quality and management level and
f) Promote the public email service’s healthy and orderly development
