eBay has added a new service to its stores for the sellers to send RSS feeds to subscribers. Now the sellers will be able to send updates on products to customers.


eBay has added a new service to its stores for the sellers to send RSS feeds to subscribers. Now the sellers will be able to send updates on products to customers.

Arturo Zacarias, Senior Product Manager, Platform and New Technologies, has announced, “This can be a great way for your customers to keep informed about your new listings”.

Zacarias has also said, “We are working to add RSS to other areas as well in the coming months, so stay tuned”. [source]

Store owners can go to the Manage My Store section of ebay to add a RSS button to their store. The customers who have an RSS reader can go to the store they are interested in and copy the RSS link and paste it into their RSS Reader.

If you are a registered with ebay you will be taken to Listing Feeds (within Store Marketing). You can click on “Distribute your listings via RSS” and then click on “Apply”.
