Skype Launches Personalise Skype
Skype has launched “Personalise Skype” that lets callers send and receive pictures and ringtones.
Skype for Windows Version 1.4. has launched “Personalise Skype” by adding a number of special features to its internet telephone.
The new features include: increased mobility options, new personalized ring tones, sounds and pictures, improved sound quality and more ways to connect to friends and family.
Other new features include: a new Call Forwarding service that will allow callers to forward incoming Skype calls to another Skype name or up to three landline or mobile numbers when the caller is away.
According to Skype the new features will help users build their own personal Skype.
“Find a ringtone that makes you smile whenever your friends call. Choose a picture for all to see when you’re feeling down in the dumps, maybe someone will call and cheer you up.”
Text eBay has bought Skype for a potential deal value of 4.1 billion.
