Reuters has reported that Google and Sun Microsystems are planning to announce a “Collaborative effort” in Silicon Valley.

According to the Reuters report the two companies, Google Inc. and computer maker Sun Microsystems Inc., will hold a press conference at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California.

Eric Schmidt, Google Chief Executive, and Scott McNealy, Sun Chief Executive are to make an announcement about a “collaborative effort” of the two companies, in Silicon Valley.

The Sun Microsystem has announced, “Please join Scott McNealy, Sun Microsystems Chairman and CEO and Dr. Eric Schmidt, Google Chairman of the Executive Committee and CEO as they discuss a new collaborative effort between the two companies.
