VoIP Assessment Tool to be Launched
Apparent Networks is to launch a set of tools designed to identify faults associated with data and voice networks in Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
Apparent Networks is to launch an enterprise-grade version of its AppareNet Voice technology, a set of tools designed to identify faults associated with data and voice networks.
Accordig to analysts 85 percent of enterprise IP networks are not ready for VoIP and the issues impacting the adoption of Internet phone services are call latency, network congestion and packet loss.
Matt Dion, a marketing executive with Apparent Networks says, “Our technology examines voice and data traffic, and how they impact each other. We do predictive evaluations based on network measurements that examine the data packets”. According to Dion because AppareNet Voice provides agent-free testing, it can test components including wide-area network links, handsets, clients and servers.
