General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) a new set of rules implemented by the EU parliament and is set to come into effect on the 25th May 2018. There have been many doubts and issues regarding the implementation of GDPR. A recent research highlighted that only 15% marketers ready to comply with GDPR. Research: 15% marketers ready to comply with GDPR

A recent eMarketer report had revealed that only 6% of firms are completely prepared for the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). AdWeek has posted about a Forrester report which states the around 15% marketers are fully compliant with the GDPR. The report mentions that less than half have audited their data. 6% firms prepared for the EU’s GDPR [Survey]

An eMarketer report has revealed that only 6% of firms are completely prepared for the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). eMarketer states that the companies violating the GDPR would face a fine of $24 million or 4% of annual sales, depending on which figure is higher.
