They are considered influencers because their voices are heard by large audiences and are respected.
They often have a way that marketers can team up with them (for a fee) and collaborate to promote their products and services on the influencer’s social media pages. In this way, people will get to know about the product or service and become convinced to use them because their favorite celebrity also uses them.
2. Social Media Marketing
If 4 billion people are on the internet, 95% of them are also active social media users. This is because social media , including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, etc., have evolved to become a key component of our lives if we want to keep up with the latest news and trends.
Businesses can establish official accounts on these social media sites to promote their products and services and to interact with the audiences present. This bridges the gap between the consumers and the sellers since consumers can get their queries solved through a social media interaction with the business’s page.
3. Affiliate Marketing
This form of marketing is closely associated with influencer marketing and social media marketing.
A business sets up a program or website and pays commissions to the people, external websites, and influencers, who are known as “affiliates” and who drive traffic to that website.
This is a win-win practice because it allows both the affiliate and the business to earn money. Individuals earn money by promoting through commissions for the sales the drive to the business, and that business makes money through the sales generated because of the traffic that came in due to those affiliates.

In this form of marketing, businesses pay various online platforms such as Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, or Instagram to run their advertisements. Usually, they have to pay for every click that is made on that ad. However, some search engines and platforms are flexible enough to charge a fee only per thousand views, or in some cases, the fee due if that ad results ina sign-up for the business’s mailing list.
This medium, however, may require a large amount of money to be invested to achieve the desired goal.
5. Content Marketing
Content marketing is promoting your business, its products, and its services by publishing content relating to the problems and needs of its intended buyers. The content may include blogs, eBooks, and articles. Creating videos or podcasts, conducting case studies, and hosting webinars also fall under content marketing. Thiese content delivery methods are widely used to provide content to the target audience and convert those targeted people into customers.
6. Email Marketing
Email marketing is undoubtedly an underrated means of advertising your business. It is usually adopted in conjunction with social media and content marketing. Businesses try to gather specific email addresses through social media and newsletters to create a target audience. After that, they send promotional emails to these people to invite them to learn more about their products and services and ultimately to invest in them. Virtually every internet user has an email address, and thus, this form of marketing has proved incredibly advantageous for marketers.
7. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Lastly, Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”) is also an immensely helpful way of driving traffic to your websites and gaining new customers. It is a process of optimizing website’s content to get the attention of search engines and to appear at the top of the results pages whenever someone searches a topic related to your content.
