An eMarketer report has revealed that 28% of people listen to the podcasts in Canada. It brings a greater opportunity for the marketers who use podcasting as a marketing medium.

The 18-34 years age group is having the maximum people (41%) who consume the podcasts.

eMarketer’s Paul Briggs say, “The podcast ad environment is unlike other digital formats, lacking detailed user metrics. But that’s changing as Apple, whose iTunes is the dominant distribution point for global podcast downloads, made podcast analytics available in late 2017. Now publishers and advertisers have a better view of metrics about listening habits”.
