Kevin Docherty has been working on a tool to improve communications between site visitors and site owners. Today’s visitors become irritated when they can’t get their questions answered. Making it easy for the visitor to contact you when something is unclear to them is key to building loyal clients.

Docherty has just released WP Connect, the second generation of his communications plugin. With it, you can assure that your visitors are never more than one click away from contacting you.

WP Connect places up to five buttons in your sidebar. You decide how many buttons and which functions they offer:
Button 1: Request a call back
Button 2: Schedule an appointment
Button 3: Use Skype and Google Maps to get in touch or travel to the physical location
Button 4: Opt in for SMS messages
Button 5: Opt in for mailing list

The buttons you select float up and down as the visitor scrolls through the page, so they are always available (unless you specify otherwise.) One click is all it ever takes to use them.

You are getting a full developer’s license, so you can place it on your client sites, as well as your own sites. (And there’s a reduced price single site license if you prefer.)

You get lifetime access to updates and support. And Docherty plans a series of updates to be released soon.
