Why TODAY Is The Greatest Day EVERTo Be An Online Marketer (for real)

There has never been a better time in the history of the Internet to be an online marketer.

That may sound crazy. Perhaps insane.

We have issues with spam filters, no doubt.

There‟s more competition than ever before.

Google doesn‟t particularly like online marketers.

So why in the WORLD would I say that today is the best day? Didn‟t the people who got in early have the greatest opportunity?

While there is more competition than ever, I have been around since day one.

And today is THE day – the greatest day ever to be an online marketer.

Before I explain why, let me give you the back story, so you can appreciate why I have the right to talk about this.

I got interested in a technology called “direct response marketing” back in 1978. The idea was that you could run ads, sell products and make money. I read what some people would call a “get-rich-quick” ad. But I got fascinated by it. And even more fascinated when I got the product.

When AOL, Compuserver, Prodigy and Genii (I don‟t remember the spelling) came along, I was right there, mucking around, running ads, sending out printed sales letters and emails trying to make a buck.

When the World Wide Web exploded onto the scene, blowing away the “textbased Internet,” I was right there.

Back when most modern-day teachers of Internet marketing weren‟t doing anything, I was selling $30,000 per month – and more.

I spoke at some of the first seminars about Internet marketing in Boulder, Colorado with Jonathan Mizel and Declan Dunn.

At one time, I was probably ranked as high as top 3 in the most well-known Internet marketers in the world. Take everyone who surfs the Internet with an English browser in the world and 1 out of 102 have been to one of my web sites according to 24 hour “cookies” (things that track web visits).

The point of all this isn‟t to toot my horn.

It‟s just to say that I‟ve been around the block and helped invent some of the block, as a matter of fact. Some of the methods that are considered common knowledge and practice I created.

Anyway, TODAY is the best time to be an Internet marketer. Not 1996. Not 2001. Not 2005.

There is more opportunity today than ever before.

And I‟ve read articles from some people who would say that the Internet marketing party is over. They have their own agendas and viewpoints to “sell .”

Their own hidden reasons for saying such things. I‟m here to tell you that I‟ve been IN this business since BEFORE day one. I‟ve sold millions of dollars online. Spoken around the world at over 120 seminars.

And today is the greatest day to be an online marketer
