– In August 2006, 706 million searches were made in the UK in August 2006

– 546 million results were clicked

– In August 2006, 22,772,137 searches were made per day

– 948,839 searches were made per hour

– 15,814 searches were made per minute

– 264 searches were made per second.

– Google – 68% click-through share

– Yahoo! – 9.1% click-through share

– Ask.com – 7.8% click-through share

– MSN/Windows Live – 5.8% click-through share

– AOL – 4.1% click-through share

– Orange – 1.8% click-through share

– Tiscali – 1.2% click-through share

– AltaVista – 0.2% click-through share
