NBC and YouTube have announced a partnership to combine NBC’s programming with YouTube’s audience for enhancing the entertainment experience on YouTube.

With the partnership NBC will create an NBC channel on YouTube to launch its fall preview area with exclusive clips to promote NBC’s comedy ‘The Office’. NBC will also launch video presentations on the new NBC channel.

Chad Hurley, Co-founder and CEO of YouTube, said: “This partnership provides greater visibility and access to both NBC and YouTube’s audiences, providing both companies with new outlets for growth and opportunity”. [source]

People watch 70 million videos per day on YouTube. YouTube is the 17th most trafficked Web site in the world, according to NBC Universal.
