Indeed.com has launched a pay-per-click job advertising network. Employers, recruiters and job boards will be able to promote their job ads to users on Indeed.com and its network of websites.

Indeed’s network of websites includes About.com, NY Times Job Market and Boston.com.

Sponsored jobs are charged per click and are offered along with free inclusion in Indeed.com’s search results.

Indeed allows advertisers to sponsor jobs without picking keywords and writing advertising copies. Indeed uses details from the job description to allow sponsored jobs to appear alongside unpaid search results for relevant searches.

Paul Forster, CEO of Indeed, said: “Search engines have revolutionized the advertising industry with a pay-for-performance model, and now Indeed is the first to create a pay-per-click network for classifieds advertising. Hundreds of advertisers and publishers have joined since we launched the beta of our PPC advertising network in 2005.” [Source]
