China’s online ad market hit $120 million in 2005, according to Analysys International. According to Analysys, China’s online ad market reached RMB 939 million in the fourth quarter of 2005.

Analysys predicts that China’s online ad market will grow at least 30% year over year in the next three years.

Among the online ad market revenue, keyword advertising revenue reached RMB 218 million, online ads reached RMB 646 million, PR advertising reached RMB 76 million and email advertising reached RMB 5 million.

Rao Zhan, an analyst from Analysys International, said: “As China’s Internet environment gets mature, the Internet industry will play an important role in business affairs. Online advertising will play an important role in the Internet market and keep fast growing speed.” [Source]
