Google has launched Google Pack, a one-stop software package that helps ‘discover, install, and maintain a wide range of essential PC programs’. Google has also announced Google Updater that keeps all the software in the Google Pack updated and current.


Google has launched Google Pack, a one-stop software package that helps ‘discover, install, and maintain a wide range of essential PC programs’. Google has announced a new tool called the Google Updater that keeps all the software in the Google Pack updated and current.

Google Blog has reported the experience of new PC users which is shared by Google Founders too. Once consumers buy a computer they have to download a browser, a couple of multimedia players, a PDF reader, a toolbar, and maybe something for voice and instant messaging. They have to get anti-spyware and anti-virus applications and keep them all updated.
