Great Britain college student Alex Tew is the creator of The Million Dollar Homepage. He introdcued the innovative idea of selling various pixel-sized ads.
In the description for the auctioned product on ebay, Alex has written, “I’ve already sold 999,000 pixels of advertising space on MillionDollarHomepage.com, but due to exceptionally high demand for pixels I decided to do the most logical thing and auction the final 1,000 pixels right here on eBay.” [source]
